Blogmas 2002 Day 11: 2020 The End of the Year Book Tag

Blogmas Day 11: 2020 The End of the Year Book Tag

Welcome to day 11 of Blogmas! You know, based on my reading mood right now, I seriously doubt I’ll be able to do much reading in the last 20 days of this year. So I decided to do this tag earlier than I had initially planned. This is a tag that I’ve done in the past, but it’s always fun to do it.

I saw this tag over on Kal’s blog and it sounded to much fun, that I decided to do it, even if no one tagged me 🙂 .This tag was created by Ariel Bissett, so go check out her original video. Let’s start

2020 The End of the Year Book Tag

  • Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

I…yes. I have a TON of books that seem to have a permanent residence on my nightstand. I just can’t seem to get myself to finish them. And it’s not because I don’t want to, it’s because I have a really hard time concentrating on reading right now.

  • Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

You know, for the first time in… a long time, I am not that excited about many upcoming books. I’ve been focusing on clearing up my Netgalley backlog, my freebie collection on Kindle is insane, and I have a ton of books on my physical shelves that are waiting for me, so I’m focused on reading more backlist books in the upcoming year.

  • What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

Beach Read by Emily Henry

The Hunter by Kerrigan Byrne

Duke By Default by Alyssa Cole

  • Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?

Based on some friends’ reactions to Beach Read, I definitely think this could end up being my favorite read of the year, but the same could be said about The Hunter too. So…who knows?

  • Have you already started making reading plans for 2021?

Yes I have. Surprisingly there aren’t many reading challenges that I want to sign up to, or at least the ones I want to do haven’t been announced yet. It’s mostly goals and me keeping up with some of the reading challenges that I had fun doing in 2020, even if they end up not being hosted in 2021.

I’m going to tag all of you. So please let me know if you end up doing this tag.
